OBJECTIVE
The goal of the portfolio is to provide
consistent, above-benchmark returns on an annual basis.
To accomplish this goal, we feature stock sector exposure
through the utilization of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
Sector analysis is an integral part of the process and
each ETF position is given a target price and stop loss
point. Stop losses and price objectives are strictly
adhered to, keeping the likelihood of success in the
investor's favor. We typically select ETFs only when
there exists a favorable risk/reward characteristics
and upside potential of 20% or higher. Although we are
sensitive to the benefits of long-term capital gains,
each recommendation stands on its own merit regardless
of time frame.

SECTOR STRATEGIES
STRATEGY
The Sector Strategies investment methodology
incorporates economic, fundamental, quantitative, and
technical analysis. The process is a "top down"
view of current economic trends and their potential
impact on interest rates and corporate profits, the
primary factors driving security prices.
We then employ "point and figure" technical
analysis to identify general market trends, sector risk
levels, and buy and sell signals on individual stocks.
Point and figure charting also provides us with entry
points, target prices, and stop loss points on individual
stocks. From this process we attempt to determine sectors
and industry groups that appear to have the greatest
potential for appreciation with the least amount of
risk.
We believe the combination of these
disciplines of fundamental and technical analysis helps
put the odds of success in our favor, separating us
from our competition.
This portfolio is suited for investors
seeking a core equity strategy for their investment
portfolio. Due to the expected higher turnover rate,
this portfolio is ideally suited for tax qualified accounts
or for investors with low tax sensitivity.
