Why Professional Money Management?Whether your goal is financial independence,
funding future college costs, or retirement planning,
developing an investment plan is a crucial component
to building wealth.
Tower Asset Management will help you
to define your financial objectives through initial
and ongoing counsel. By developing an investment plan
and policy, you will be empowered to begin your journey
to financial success.
STEP 1: PLANNING
Sound investment planning begins with
an evaluation of your objectives, time horizon, and
risk tolerance. Your feedback to these discussion points
will set the framework for your investment plan.
Objectives
Tower's use of state-of-the-art financial
planning software is an effective tool to help define
your objectives. By entering a series of inputs, Tower
can create a projection of your retirement assets and
income levels. Once a set of goals has been established,
we can begin to make an assessment of which assets are
most appropriate for your portfolio. Whatever your objective
may be, we can offer our insight to the most effective
asset mix.
Time Horizon
The desired amount of time until you
reach your financial goal is critical in designing an
appropriate investment strategy. Given a desired time
horizon, we can assist you in creating asset and cash
flow projections to determine the feasibility of your
investment plan.
Risk Tolerance
Equities, fixed income, and cash will
be the primary asset classes used to create your portfolio.
Each asset has very different risk and expected return
characteristics. Combining and utilizing these asset
classes in varying degrees allows Tower to effectively
manage the risk in your portfolio. We will discuss with
you the differences in each and help you to determine
your personal comfort level in each.
STEP 2: ASSET ALLOCATION
RECOMMENDATION
Asset allocation is the practice of
distributing capital among different types of asset
classes (i.e. stocks, bonds, cash). Asset classes have
their own unique risk/return characteristics and tend
to move in different directions at different times and
in varying degrees. Therefore, it is important for investors
to study individual asset class behavior as well as
combinations of asset classes in the context of their
own risk tolerance. Asset allocation can reduce overall
portfolio risk while creating a more consistent expected
return. After you have made an assessment of your circumstances
and set financial goals, we will translate your investment
profile into an allocation of assets that is appropriate
for you.
STEP 3: MONEY
MANAGEMENT
After determining the appropriate blend
of assets for your portfolio, an Investment Policy Statement,
a written plan documenting each client’s specific
objectives, risk tolerance, personal preferences, tax
guidelines, restrictions, etc. is developed. Tower's
portfolio managers then implement the investment strategy
that we have created for you. Accounts are constantly
monitored, reviewed and rebalanced to ensure that the
asset classes within your portfolio are inline with
your target allocations.
STEP 4: EVALUATION
The best investment strategy is one
that is flexible and capable of adjusting to your needs.
Only through regular consultation and evaluation of
your objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance can
your portfolio truly stay focused on working to meet
your financial goals.
